What We Did For Love

For the Bobcat Players, theatre is always brought to life through love. This year, we are stretching ourselves even further by pushing our work to be as intimate as possible. That goal is reflected in our 2017 season, with shows ranging from an original work by our own artistic director to Tom Griffin's The Boys Next Door, which focuses on the lives of four mentally-challenged men who live in a group home. Reaching Out!

You may or may not be aware, but the Bobcat Players have a long-standing tradition of taking performances on the road. This tradition, which dates back nearly 10 years, has been carried out in the hopes of bringing the joy of theatre to people who may not usually attend our shows. Last year, we took this one step farther by participating in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. That successful endeavor resulted in the award for Best Staged Reading! We are looking forward to participating again later this year, but for now, we are focusing our efforts closer to home.
