Every year, we are honored as talented actors spend their valuable time auditioning for our season. This year was no exception and we are patiently waiting to reveal our casts to you. In the meantime, we'd like to take a moment to focus on the people who work behind the scenes to make our shows happen. In our last blog entry, we focused on the directors, whose visions will be brought to life on our stage in 2020, but there are countless other people who are integral to the success of our productions. Directing the Way...

The holiday lights may have faded, but the stage lights are just going up on the Bobcat Players’ 2020 season. And it is promising to be a glowing season at that. For the first time in ages, our directors are all closely aligned with the Bobcat core. Three are on the board of directors, and one is an instructor and director in the Beaver Area School District. All of the names and faces should be familiar to our audiences. Opening the season is our postponed summer 2019 show, One Man, Two Guvnors, a hilarious farce adapted from the 18th century A Servant to Two Masters. New Year, New Roles

The new year is upon us and for many, that means new resolutions. Hopefully, your resolution for the new year has something to do with getting more involved with your community--and we're here to help! The auditions for our 2020 season are just NINE days away, so you really should schedule yours today. You have three chances to audition: Saturday, January 11 from 9 AM-3 PM, Sunday, January 12 from 2-7 PM, and Tuesday, January 14 from 7-10 PM. Auditions take place on our home stage, the Ed Schaughency Theater at the Beaver Area High School.
